Our daughter is 6 months old, and so she is just starting to roll, situp and whatnot....and since this jumper had many good reviews and the other models, some of which we did see in local stores, didn't seem as interesting, we decided to try this one from Amazon -- we couldn't find/see it locally.
Bottom line: Our daughter likes it ... is having fun in it... and so it's meeting our expectations.
More detail: Mostly, at 6 months, she wants to put things in her mouth, so my wife and I were a bit sceptical if she was old enough for this... However, after some initial trepidation - she seemed to not know what to do - she's really jumping and laughing in this. She seems okay being in here for up to 15 minutes before wanting to do something else. BTW, it took a few adjustments to a firm pillow to support her feet under the jumper, and lots of encouragement to get her going. As she gets going (as others have mentioneded) she is bound, bent and determined to reach those hanging animals. She particularly likes to chew on the blue elephant ....
As always, Amazon's delivery was on time and the product was in perfect condition.

We got the Precious Planet Jumperoo for my son (the difference being the blue cross bar). However my son scrambles out of my hand to get into his jumperoo. Since he has been using the jumperoo:
1 My son's legs are much stronger (he stands a lot firmer)
2 The noted twist in his feet "pigeon toes" has improved
3 Motor skills are fast developing
4 He is becoming more independent regarding his "alone time"
As well the variety of toys truly fascinate him, he's particularly fond of the wheelie, he giggles as it spins. He is also able to reach the dangling toys so that is quite funny when he gets a hold of them.
My son is now 9 mths and has been using it since he was 6 months. I truly cannot fault the toy in any way. Oh! my one issue is how cumbersome it can be when dismantled to move. But that's just me being fussy :-)
One thing we parents must always remember one child's experience will always be different from others. What holds the interest of my child may be an absolute bore to another.

I was extremely lucky to pick this up for $35 in a consignment store as I am tired of purchasing full (over)priced items that my daughter intellectually and physically grows out of. She's only 4 months and no longer wants to sit in the bouncer chair as it's too far reclined and she strains to sit up and mostly wants to stand when you play one-on-one so this was an excellent find. She loves standing up in it and staring at the toys even if she's a little small to reach and play with them all yet. Her toes can just reach the floor so she's able to bounce and jump around in it. She loves it and so do we as it's great fun to watch her. I do agree that at full price, it's quite steep.
